Design Process

We start every project from a blank page creating individual projects that are unique to each client.  Our design and manufacturing processes are only limited by your imagination and have resulted in the creation of numerous award winning installations.

Initially we invite all our clients to visit our studio to engage in a complementary consultation; this allows us to find out a little more about each project and to answer any questions that may arise.  In order to avoid disappointment we strongly advise all potential clients to pre-book their consultation in advance.

Once the design brief has been confirmed we can move the process forward with clients choosing to commission a design from Designer Kitchen by Morgan.

All of our designs are created in 3-D and in full colour and are designed to allow clients to make informed design decisions.  Our design process is amongst the most comprehensive in the industry allowing clients to feel reassured and comfortable with the direction of their project.

We charge a nominal fee for the creation of each design which is payable upon commissioning.  All designs created by Designer Kitchen by Morgan are copyright and protected by “ACID” (Anti Copying in Design).

Specification and Production Drawings

Once the initial concept has been completed we will schedule a studio appointment to discuss the design and fine tune the detail.  The design will then be tweaked as required in order to ensure our clients are completely happy with the finished
concept.

When the design has been approved we will specify the project and present a competitive proposal for the manufacture and installation of their project.

Once the project has been confirmed for installation and a deposit has been paid we will refund the initial design fee in full.

At this stage we would produce and agree an installation date, electrical and plumbing specifications, time line schedules and full workshop production drawings.

Workshop

A project usually takes 8-12 weeks to manufacture so a detailed schedule is created to give approximate timings for each phase of the project allowing us to plan the installation to coincide with progress on site. Our production processes allow us to create unique designs in almost any finish and our quality control methods ensure that every project is manufactured to the highest standard.

Fitting

Our own team of experienced fitters will then deliver and install the furniture.  Most projects also involve electrical works, decoration and templates for worktops.
The average project takes approx 2-3 weeks to complete and once finished we will walk through the project with the client to ensure all minor snagging is completed before handover.

We also offer additional “bolt on” services including full interior design packages, curtain design, manufacturing and installation, interior decoration and building works.
